Day 1Arrival at Belgaum airport – Transfer to Badami
Arrive at Belgaum Airport and meet your driver outside the terminal.
After lunch at a nearby restaurant, proceed by road to Badami, once known as Vatapi, the capital of the Chalukyas (6th–8th century).
On arrival, check in at the hotel and relax after the journey.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2Badami, Aihole & Pattadakal Sightseeing
After an early breakfast, begin a full day of sightseeing around Badami.
Explore the famous Badami Cave Temples, carved from red sandstone and set against the scenic Agastya Lake — including shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva, Vishnu and Jain Tirthankaras.
Visit Badami Fort, Upper & Lower Shivalayas, Malegitti Shivalaya and the Bhutanatha Temple complex on the lake’s edge.
Post lunch, proceed to Aihole, regarded as the cradle of Indian temple architecture, with visits to Durga Temple, Lad Khan Temple, Ambigera Gudi, Suryanarayan Temple and other early structural temples.
If time permits, continue to Pattadakal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing a blend of Dravidian and Nagara architectural styles.
Return to Badami in the evening.
Day 3Badami to Hampi – Heritage Exploration
After breakfast, check out and drive to Hampi, the former capital of the Vijayanagara Empire.
On arrival at Hospet, check in at the hotel and have lunch.
Begin sightseeing with the magnificent Vijaya Vittala Temple, famous for its musical pillars and iconic Stone Chariot (access via walk or local trolley).
Later visit the Queen’s Bath and explore nearby ruins as time permits.
Return to the hotel in the evening.
Day 4Hampi Full Day Sightseeing
After breakfast, depart for a full day of guided exploration (guide recommended).
Visit the Royal Enclosure, Hazara Rama Temple, Zenana Enclosure, Lotus Mahal and other royal structures.
Continue to Krishna Temple, Badavilinga, Lakshmi Narasimha Temple and the revered Virupaksha Temple.
Walk through the lively Virupaksha Bazaar and enjoy a traditional coracle boat ride on the Tungabhadra River (direct payment basis).
End the day with a memorable sunset at Hemakuta Hill, offering panoramic views of Hampi’s ruins.
Return to the hotel.
Day 5Hampi to Bijapur – Deccan Sultanate Heritage
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Bijapur (Vijayapura), once the seat of the Adil Shahi dynasty.
Check in at the hotel upon arrival and relax after lunch.
Later, explore the architectural marvels of Bijapur including the legendary Gol Gumbaz, known for its massive dome and whispering gallery.
Visit Bara Kaman, Malik-e-Maidan cannon and other historic landmarks.
Evening free for local shopping or leisure.
Day 6Bijapur to Belgaum – Departure
After an early breakfast, check out and drive to Belgaum Airport, arriving well in time for your onward flight.
