Day 1Arrival Guwahati | Drive to Shillong
Arrive at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station where our representative will assist you. Proceed on a scenic drive to Shillong (approx. 3–4 hours), often referred to as the ‘Scotland of the East’ for its rolling hills and colonial charm. If arriving early, an optional visit to Kamakhya Temple can be arranged. En route, pause at Umiam Lake (Bara Pani) where you may enjoy boating or simply soak in the serene surroundings. On arrival in Shillong, check in at your hotel and relax.

Day 2Shillong Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore Shillong’s key attractions. Visit the Don Bosco Museum for an insightful introduction to North East India’s indigenous cultures (closed Sundays). Continue to Elephant Falls, a beautiful multi-tiered waterfall set amidst lush greenery. Drive up to Shillong Peak for panoramic views of the city (closed Wednesdays). In the evening, enjoy leisure time at Police Bazaar for local shopping and cafés.

Day 3Dawki & Mawlynnong Excursion
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Dawki near the Indo-Bangladesh border. Enjoy a boat ride (direct payment basis) on the crystal-clear Umngot River, known for its glass-like waters. Continue to Mawlynnong, famously known as one of Asia’s cleanest villages. Experience its well-maintained pathways and community-driven eco practices. Visit a nearby Living Root Bridge — a fascinating example of bio-engineering created by local tribes. Return to Shillong by evening.

Day 4Laitlum Canyons | Drive to Cherrapunjee
After breakfast, visit Laitlum Canyons — offering dramatic valley views and vast open landscapes. Later, drive to Cherrapunjee (Sohra), one of the wettest places on earth. En route, visit Mawkdok Valley viewpoint. Depending on season and time, explore Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Caves, Arwah Caves and Eco Park. Arrive and check in at your hotel.

Day 5Cherrapunjee Exploration
After breakfast, explore the natural wonders of Cherrapunjee. Visit the majestic Nohkalikai Falls, Dainthlen Falls and Wai Sawdong Falls (seasonal flow varies).
Optional: Full-day trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge and Rainbow Falls (approx. 3000 steps; not recommended for senior citizens & kids). Local guide suggested (at extra cost). Return to hotel by evening.

Day 6Drive to Kaziranga
After breakfast, depart for Kaziranga National Park (approx. 6–7 hours drive). On arrival, check in at your wildlife lodge and relax.

Day 7Kaziranga Safari Experience
Early morning proceed for an Elephant Safari (subject to forest department allocation), offering a chance to spot the famous one-horned rhinoceros. Return for breakfast. Later visit the Kaziranga Orchid & Biodiversity Park showcasing native flora and Assamese cultural performances. In the afternoon, enjoy a Jeep Safari in the national park to explore its rich wildlife habitat.
