Itinerary

Day-by-day Flow

Day 1

Arrival • Pinnawala • Kandy

Welcome to Sri Lanka! On arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, meet your driver/guide and proceed to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage — home to rescued and rehabilitated elephants. Spend time watching them being fed and bathed in the river. Later, drive to Kandy, the last royal capital of Sri Lanka. Check in at your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Kandy. Meals: None

Day 2

Kandy Sightseeing

After breakfast, enjoy a city tour of Kandy, surrounded by lush hills and a tranquil lake. Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, a revered Buddhist site, followed by the Royal Botanical Gardens, known for their vast orchid collection. In the evening, witness a Traditional Cultural Dance Show, showcasing Sri Lanka’s vibrant heritage. Overnight stay in Kandy. Meals: Breakfast

Day 3

Kandy • Ramboda • Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, drive towards Nuwara Eliya, the heart of Sri Lanka’s tea country. En route, stop at the Ramboda Waterfall and the Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple. Visit a Tea Plantation & Factory to see how the world’s finest tea is made and enjoy a tasting session. On arrival, explore Nuwara Eliya, fondly known as “Little England.” Visit the Seetha Amman Temple and the scenic Hakgala Botanical Garden. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya. Meals: Breakfast

Day 4

Nuwara Eliya • Bentota

After breakfast, travel to Bentota, a coastal gem known for its beaches and river lagoons. Upon arrival, unwind at your beach resort or enjoy optional water sports such as jet skiing, windsurfing, or banana boat rides. Relax by the sea and soak in the tropical breeze. Overnight stay in Bentota. Meals: Breakfast

Day 5

Bentota • Colombo

After breakfast, visit a Turtle Hatchery to learn about conservation efforts and meet adorable baby turtles. Then, enjoy a Madu River Safari, gliding through mangroves and spotting exotic birdlife. Proceed to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s bustling capital. On a city tour, visit landmarks like the National Museum, Galle Face Green, and the Pettah Market, followed by some shopping for souvenirs and handicrafts. Overnight stay in Colombo. Meals: Breakfast

Day 6

Colombo • Departure

Enjoy your final breakfast in Sri Lanka. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time for last-minute shopping before your transfer to the airport for departure. Meals: Breakfast
