Day 1Arrival in Zurich | City Tour & Lake Views
Welcome to Switzerland. Upon arrival in Zurich, transfer to your hotel and settle in before beginning your introduction to the city.
In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walking tour of Zurich’s historic Old Town (Altstadt), where cobbled streets, medieval houses, and historic guild buildings reveal the city’s rich heritage. Wander past charming squares, hidden courtyards, and landmarks such as churches that have stood for centuries.
Later, take the scenic cable car up to Felsenegg, a popular local viewpoint offering sweeping views over Lake Zurich, the surrounding forests, and distant Alpine peaks.
The day continues with a relaxing ferry cruise across Lake Zurich, allowing you to experience the city from the water while gliding past lakeside villages and scenic shorelines.
Evening at leisure to explore Zurich’s restaurants and cafés.

Day 2Zurich to Lucerne | Scenic Train Journey
After breakfast, board a scenic train (~1hr) to the charming lakeside town of Lucerne.
Nestled between a sparkling lake and dramatic mountains, Lucerne is one of Switzerland’s most picturesque destinations.
Upon arrival, explore the beautiful Old Town, known for its colourful frescoed buildings, medieval squares, and lively atmosphere. Walk across the iconic Chapel Bridge, a historic wooden bridge adorned with paintings depicting scenes from the city’s past.
You may also visit the famous Lion Monument, a moving sculpture carved into rock that commemorates Swiss Guards who lost their lives during the French Revolution.
Spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying Lucerne’s charming streets, boutique shops, and lakeside promenades.

Day 3Mount Pilatus or Mount Rigi Excursion
Today offers the opportunity to experience one of the classic Swiss mountain excursions from Lucerne.
You may choose to visit either Mount Pilatus or Mount Rigi — both offering unforgettable alpine views.
Mount Pilatus features one of the steepest cogwheel railways in the world and panoramic summit terraces overlooking the lake and surrounding mountains.
Alternatively, Mount Rigi — often called the “Queen of the Mountains” — offers a scenic combination of boat rides, cogwheel trains, and panoramic hiking trails with spectacular views of central Switzerland’s lakes and peaks.
Return to Lucerne by evening and enjoy a relaxed evening in the town.

Day 4Lucerne to Interlaken | Lakes & Alpine Views
After breakfast, travel by train (~2hr) through scenic Swiss countryside to Interlaken, located between the beautiful lakes of Thun and Brienz and surrounded by towering alpine peaks.
In the afternoon, take the funicular up to Harder Kulm, often called the “Top of Interlaken.” From here, enjoy spectacular panoramic views over Interlaken and the surrounding lakes, with the famous peaks of the Bernese Alps rising dramatically in the distance — especially magical at sunset.
Later, enjoy a relaxing lake cruise before heading to the nearby valley village of Lauterbrunnen on your own. Often described as one of the most beautiful valleys in Europe, Lauterbrunnen is known for its towering cliffs and numerous waterfalls cascading into the valley below.
Return to Interlaken for the night.

Day 5Jungfraujoch Excursion – Top of Europe
Today is one of the highlights of your Swiss journey.
Board the famous mountain railway to Jungfraujoch, known as the “Top of Europe.”
At the summit — located at over 3,400 metres above sea level — enjoy panoramic views of glaciers and snow-covered peaks stretching across the Alps. Explore the Ice Palace, walk along the glacier plateau, and take in the breathtaking scenery from the observation terraces.
Return to Interlaken in the afternoon.

Day 6Interlaken to Zermatt | Alpine Village Escape
After breakfast, board a scenic train (~2.5hr) journey to the famous alpine village of Zermatt.
Located at the base of the iconic Matterhorn, Zermatt is a car-free mountain village known for its traditional wooden chalets, scenic streets, and relaxed alpine atmosphere.
Spend the afternoon exploring the village at your own pace. Wander along the charming street of Hofmattstrasse, browse boutique shops, or relax at one of the cosy mountain cafés.
With the majestic Matterhorn rising in the background, Zermatt offers a picture-perfect alpine setting.

Day 7Matterhorn Excursion | Train to Zurich / Geneva
This morning, enjoy an excursion into the mountains surrounding Zermatt for spectacular views of the legendary Matterhorn.
Popular viewpoints such as Gornergrat or Matterhorn Glacier Paradise offer breathtaking panoramic views of the iconic pyramid-shaped peak and surrounding glaciers.
After the excursion, board a scenic train back to Zurich or Geneva depending on your departure plans.
Enjoy free time in the evening for shopping, dining, or a final stroll through the city.

Day 8Departure
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
